Kathmandu, October 8, 2025 — The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled a 15-member national squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia-Pacific Qualifier, scheduled to be held in Oman from October 8. The team features a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talents, led by captain Rohit Paudel with Dipendra Singh Airee as his deputy.

According to CAN spokesperson Chhumbi Lama, the squad was finalized based on recent performances, team balance, and conditions in Oman. The national team has already arrived in Muscat for the qualifiers.

Focused Preparation in Oman

Nepal Eye Another T20 World Cup Qualification
Nepal will compete against top regional sides from Asia and the East Asia-Pacific zone, with the top teams qualifying for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. After their strong showings in previous qualifiers and recent form in T20 cricket, Nepal are regarded as one of the favorites to advance.
